The 2023 ASHA Convention in Boston, spanning November 15-18, marked a great experience for Joshi Voice Lab. Stephanie Fan, a dedicated member of our lab, and her mentor Dr. Joshi, were honored with the Research Mentoring-Pair Travel Award.

Reflecting the convention's research symposium theme, which focused on the burgeoning role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD), the experience was immensely educational. The team gained valuable insights into the latest advancements in integrating AI within the CSD field and encountered many new ideas.
Dr. Joshi also showcased her work in pediatric voice through a poster presentation on "Normative Pediatric Data for the Cepstral Measures Using Praat and ADSV," highlighting our lab's strides in voice assessment for the pediatric population.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our collaborators, Dr. Shaheen Awan, Danielle Devore, Dr. Julina Ongkasuwan, and Teresa Procter, whose diverse expertise in clinical practice and research greatly enriched our project. Their contributions were invaluable. We look forward to continuing our journey in voice research.
